The newly-formed Fairbanks 2014 Arctic Winter Games Host Society is seeking to hire a General Manager for the 2014 Games. The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the preparation, management, and wrap-up of the 2014  Games. The GM's duties include: implementing and reviewing policies and procedures; preparing the budget; hiring, training, and supervising staff; establishing a Games office and related administrative functions; recommending and establishing a financial controls system; supporting the all Games' administrative committees, including but not limited to the Executive Committee, Communications, Finance, Fundraising, Guest Services, Media, Merchandising, Security, Athlete Services, and Volunteers; supporting the Sport and Cultural Managers; recommending and maintaining an effective inter-committee communications system and public relations program; and, other duties as determined by the Host Society Board of Directors.
